Baby Wood Update- Week 25

This week I actually slept at night but I was incredibly tired during the day. Each day seemed to blend together and was busy. Stress of work is the worst and definitely not my favorite place to be. The best part of my week was seeing the baby kick on the outside. She is a mover and a shaker!!

We bought the paint this weekend for our girl's room and Nick is in the process of painting. I can't believe it!! A little while after we found out we were expecting I made a checklist. It was shocking to see how much needed to be done in so little time. We have really been knocking things out.

This week heartburn has been ruling my life. I thought it was bad in the first trimester but it seriously feels like I am going to explode with fire. I have tried Tums but besides drinking lots of water, I suck on peppermint candy during the day and will take a liquid antacid if it gets really bad at night.

Total weight gain: 137 lbs (gained 17 lbs)
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? There is a little spot above my belly button that is turning a light purple...but nothing major.
Belly Button: Oh my! My belly button has just about reached its max. It is completely flat now. I am nervous about what it is going to look like in the upcoming weeks.
Sleep: I got a pregnancy pillow and it has been a life saver. I am sleeping really well during the night however I do have trouble going to bed because of pain in my back and right below my boobs. I've also been waking up super early for no reason at all.

Food cravings: Smores and Hot Chocolate
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing...Feeling good.
Labor signs: NO!!
Wedding rings on/off: On
Mood: Feeling good!!!!!
Looking forward to: Baby shower in November...Doctor's Appointment next week

Waking up super early, I like to think of that as your body prepping you for life with a newborn. If you start to get insomnia later in your pregnancy just try to think of it as prep time for lack of sleep!! You look AMAZING!!! So excited for you, Nick and your precious little princess!!
